Our Story
Our first meeting - The beginning of our journey
It is always a combination of coincidences when two people find each other. In our case it was December 2015 and it would have been unthinkable without Joana's involvement. It was her who gave Maike's phone number to Victor and encouraged him to invite Maike for a drink. Although Victor had to leave early to visit his sister in Canada the next day and Maike took this as a polite rejection, it was Victor who sent a photo from Canada to Maike the very next day.
Our engagement - A yes that changed our lives
During our vacation in Salzburg, exactly seven years after we met, Victor asked the question of all questions. After a cozy evening at the Christmas markets and a delicious Austrian dinner. This is how the next chapter of our story began on the snow-covered Müllner Schanze.
Schedule
The celebration will take place at the BrewDog DogTap Berlin - Mariendorf and will begin with a relaxed reception. Followed by a delicious BBQ buffet, fresh brewed beer and then it's on: Let's dance the night away!

Questions - Answers
Can I bring my children to the wedding?
Yes, your kids are welcome! They are part of your family. However, please note that the event is held in a brewery and we are not able to provide any childcare. We hope you will enjoy the party with us, true to the theme: Let's dance the night away!
By when should I give my response (RSVP)?
We would appreciate your feedback no later than February 1, 2024. Your timely response will help us plan the day in the best possible way. You can register by clicking the RSVP button above. Thanks in advance for your support!
Will there be a shuttle service?
Unfortunately we will not be offering a shuttle service. However, it should be possible to organize carpools. Otherwise, our location is easily accessible by public transport and it is also possible to take a taxi. We thank you for your understanding and look forward to celebrating this special day with you!
What should I wear?
We would be happy to welcome you in a festive cocktail dress code, but it is important to us that you feel comfortable in your outfit and choose it accordingly to the weather. It would be nice if you could be inspired by our wedding colors, but the most important thing is that we can enjoy this special day together in a festive atmosphere!
What will the weather be like?
Since we are getting married at the end of August, we are hoping for lots of sunshine. But if the weather doesn't cooperate, that's no problem. Our celebration will take place indoors and we have prepared enough activities to have a great time even if it rains. We look forward to spending this day with you, regardless of the weather!
Where can we park?
Side street parking is available at the registry office. There is plenty of parking on site at the BrewDog DogTap.
What time should we arrive?
We ask that you arrive at the registry office 20 minutes prior to the scheduled time. For the celebration at the BrewDog DogTap, we ask that you arrive on time so that we can toast together and enjoy some delicious finger food.
Can I take photos during the wedding ceremony?
We have hired a professional photographer and ask you to keep your cameras and cell phones turned off. This way you can fully concentrate on the celebration. We are sure that the professional recordings will capture many wonderful memories for you. However, during the celebration you are welcome to take your own pictures and share these festive moments with us.
What happens between the ceremony and the celebration?
We invite you to explore the park or neighborhood on your own before heading to the BrewDog TapDog. Our maids of honor will certainly have a few good tips for you to make the best possible time between the ceremony and the celebration.
What meals will be served and what if I have dietary restrictions?
For our celebration we chose a BBQ buffet and included both vegetarian and vegan options. In addition, nuts and raw pome fruit are avoided, and dairy dishes are prepared with lactose-free milk. If you have any further dietary restrictions, please contact us in time so that we can make appropriate arrangements. Otherwise, we hope that all guests will find something tasty on our buffet.
At what time is the party supposed to end?
We look forward to celebrating with you true to our motto "Let's dance the night away!". Unfortunately our party has to end at 2 o'clock in the morning, but we hope that this will be enough time for unforgettable moments.
How can we brighten up your wedding day with a little gift?
Most of all, we wish us a day full of happiness and laughter in your company. If you would like to bring a gift, we would be happy to receive a contribution towards our honeymoon. Shared experiences mean much more to us than material things. Thank you for your thoughtfulness on our big day!
We have questions that are not answered here - who should we contact?
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us directly. If you have any questions that you don't want us to hear about, our maids of honor Joana Riedel and Marie-Luise Wegg will be happy to help you. You can contact them at any time.
